Shock, horror the bad news keeps rolling in!

Load shedding, increased fuel prices, interest rates climbing, inflation rising, not a day goes by without another gloomy newsfeed dominating our phones and tablets. It's enough to make anyone act like an ostrich and stick their heads in the sand and hope that it all passes over them like a bad dream.

We as property practitioners are some of the most fortunate people in the country, what other industry can boast that their client pool is virtually every adult in the land! Every person needs a roof over their head and of those most aspire to owning their own home. It's time to shake our heads and banish those negative thoughts once and for all, after all look around the world and see what struggles they are facing, and suddenly, you will see that we in fact have amazing opportunities in this beautiful country.

Let’s start focusing on the positives and portraying an enthusiastic and passionate image to our valued clients, let us be the ray of sunshine amongst the naysayers and rather say that we will not give 100% but rather 121%.

Start today, not tomorrow, set your mind, and reset it each day, so you are ready for a productive positive day. Start the day and finish the day with the basic activities that will lead you to bigger things, remember if you get the basics right the perfect game will follow, just ask the Springboks if you don’t believe me.

Be disciplined and hold yourself accountable, after all no one else is going to, you are the master of your own destiny and you and only you can ensure that you reach the pinnacle that you set yourself.
